A factory paint job, or even a custom paint job is no longer the best solution for the transformation of your personal or commercial auto – a vehicle wrap is. The quality of materials, printers, inks, design and installation methods are all an important part of a premium vehicle wrap.
There are several wrap options to choose from. From a full color change wrap to a simple trim wrap, the variety of textures, and colors, prints, and wrap options to choose from are endless. If you have a specific way you want to style and customize your car or truck, our designers can help you design the specifics for your vehicle wrap.
Vehicle Wrap Film Quality. The quality of vinyl film used is an essential part of a high quality, long lasting vehicle wrap. The are many vinyl manufacturers, but they are not all created equal. 3M and Avery Dennison American made leaders in the industry. Each one has unique benefits, but both are superior in quality. Cheaper, replicated film materials are not made with the same quality . A vehicle has curves and contours and is exposed to external elements. The heat stability of a film, the way it conforms to the shape of the car, and the length of time it holds up and performs are important for a long lasting, flawless wrap.
Wrap Printing Technology. The type of printer and inks used are an equally important part of a quality vehicle wrap. As the wrap industry has grown, what was done yesterday has gotten better today. There are 3 basic types of printers that print on vinyl. The one of focus and that trumps the others is the Latex printer. This printer brings the best in the wrap industry allowing for inks to immediately dry after printing, as well as more naturally flexible inks, ideal for the curves of a vehicle. A vehicle vinyl wrap should be printed with a Latex printer for the best results.
Wrap Design. It’s important that the wrap designer has a solid understanding of both the installation and production process. How the wrap will be installed, where the seams will be, how the wrap will be designed for the overall application on the car are important. It’s more than just print and install. You will notice the difference between a thought out wrap design and one that is not, in the way the car wears the vehicle wrap. Each car that is wrapped is different. A Lamborghini is different than Toyota Tundra, and a Tundra is different than a commercial food truck. The design process is an art form and one that needs attention to detail- for the ultimate vehicle wrap.
